On a Macro scale

I am in love with this mask, it was a birthday gift from a good friend.

Pittsboro, Court House Fire

Last week the Pittsboro Court House caught on fire.
The building was in the process of being restored.
The streets filled with people and there phones, calling people, taking pictures and videos of the event.

For this image I was at least 2 blocks away.

Thank you to the fire department and police officers and everyone that helped.

Terra Cotta Warriors

China's first emperor, Qin Shihuangdi, was buried with thousands of life size clay sculptures to accompany him into the afterlife.

This was one of the stops on the China trip. This is one of the three pits they have on display.

The Great Wall of China

In the summer of 2006 I traveled to China for 21 days, it was a wonderful experience. I am slowly sifting through my older digital files. I thought id share some of The Great Wall.
