For both of the shots before bringing them into Photoshop I used two Halo lights as balanced light. One at a 45 degree and one filling in the shadows where I wanted it. After setting up lights and camera angle I had my classmate Samantha McCaskill help me shoot.
I really like the ending result of your self-portrait! The only thing I would change is the specular highlight on the left of the apple. Great JOB!
ReplyDeleteVery creative Scarlet. The only thing I would change is I would use a light reduction on the right side of both apples to remove the specular highlights.
ReplyDeleteI think your self portrait worked out very well. I must say that the specular highlights don't really bother me much. I guess they could be photoshopped out. I like the bite taken out of the big apple. The comp works well. Cool idea!
